Bihar folk singer Maithili Thakur accused of stealing song
Alok Pandey, co-winner of the reality show Sur Sangram aired on Mahua Channel, has accused folk singer Maithili Thakur of stealing the song. Alok Khojwan on Friday, in a press conference held at the Shri Ram temple in Kashmiriganj, accused Maithili that Maithili had stolen the song and released it on her youtube channel.
Alok said that on 14 June 2012, he uploaded ‘Tu Raja Babu Hawa’ on T-Series’s YouTube channel, which was composed by his father Pandit Rameshwar Pandey.
This song has been written by Janakavi Bavla. According to him these songs were copied by Maithili Thakur without permission from him and released on her youtube channel and social media.
