Shri Palsikar was born on 17 May 1916 in Akol, Maharashtra. Your art education was in Bombay and you also taught at S.J.J School of Art for many years. You have been senior to many modern icon painters of India and have been counted among the capable artists.
You have also participated in many important exhibitions. You cut the surface of the painting into odd shapes and paint it in such a way that it appears disturbed. It seems as if it has been torn apart.
You paint on such a surface with watercolors and then rub it with a smooth shell and create various texture effects on it. In your paintings, Tantric Bijakshar itself, Shri Klee, Trident and Eye, etc. have been depicted with impressive modern methods by rotating them in different directions.
Palsikar has done many exhibitions in India and abroad and his paintings were also displayed in the Eastern Europe Exhibition of Lalit Kala Akademi in 1956. He has also been a member of the Bombay Artists Group and has received many awards.
